Some of the highest impact features in this Recruiting release are in Recruiting Posting and Career Site Builder. Let’s take a look.

Posting Jobs to Multiple Locations with Recruiting Posting

The Location multi-select object (location_obj) has been supported on the job requisition for quite some time now. With this release, multiple values from the Location object can be mapped into Recruiting Posting, so that jobs can be posted to multiple locations for supported job boards.

Job boards which do not support multiple locations will only post the primary location.

Job Board Unavailability Information for Recruiting Posting

The Job Board Marketplace now provides specific information about why specific job boards are unavailable. There are 2 possible reasons for a job board showing as unavailable:

  • Under Maintenance: Temporarily down for a given period and it will be available after some time.
  • Switched Off: Job board is no longer integrated with Recruiting Posting. This could be for a variety of reasons, including that the integration is obsolete, the job board no longer exists, or the job board no longer wants to be part of the job board marketplace.

Job Posting Statuses in Recruiting Posting

A job may fail to post to a job board due to invalid fields which are not supported by the job board. It is now possible to see a status of Invalid Fields on the Job Postings page. This provides insight into which fields may require correction.

Updating Site Sources in Career Site Builder

The Source Tracker allows clients to build job campaigns with detailed tracking for specific sources. Clients typically go live with a set of sources and if changes are required, those updates could only be done in the backend.

With this release, sources can now be edited in the frontend with Manage Career Site Builder.

Enhanced Cookie Management Settings

Prior to this release, a cookie banner with limited functionality could be displayed on the external career site, this cookie banner did not allow visitors to see the list of cookies used or choose to opt out of specified cookies. This new feature includes several configurable settings to present a detailed list of cookies used on the career site, with the ability to accept or deny the use of specific cookies.

There is a Legacy Site Banner in Manage Career Site Builder, where the legacy banner can be maintained for any organizations that need to revise their existing settings but do not wish to configure the cookie banner and cookie consent settings.
