Productivity Tools

Rizing’s Productivity Tools are a set of web applications and a desktop tool to assist LRS users with maintenance and analysis workflows that are not fully addressed in LRS COTS products such as Esri’s Roads and Highways (R&H). The Productivity Tools can be used with R&H, but are also compatible with the basic ArcGIS LRS capabilities or other basic LRS data models. The Productivity Tools include a single desktop tools (Intersection Manager) and 3 web tools (Segment Analyzer, Validation Assistant and Report Engine). Rizing’s Job Execution Manager (JEM), part of Application Manager, provides tools to schedule single or groups or Productivity Tools tasks to create needed nightly data validations, weekly datasets for published reports, or similar tasks Transcend’s HPMS Assistant product uses the Productivity Tools as its foundation. Transcend’s Job Execution Manager (JEM) provides tools to schedule single or groups or Productivity Tools tasks to create needed nightly data validations, weekly datasets for published reports, or similar tasks.

Dynamically Segment Asset and Road Inventory Data

Segment Analyzer™ provides the ability to combine LRS referenced data that has been modeled in un-segmented relational tables into segmented tables based on a variety of methods. · Basic Merge allows the user to combine data through a simple dynamic segmentation analysis and generate fully segmented results based on numerous road data tables with a common LRS base. This tool is often used to create fully denormalized flat data files for analysis, reporting, or input into other systems. · Dynamic Query allows users to select certain rows from a group of road data tables and merge them by intersecting the mileage extents, merging the mileage extents, or finding the locations where the query extents do not merge. · Advanced Merge allows users to hold an extent of roadway constant as a control and then aggregate data to that extent (e.g. HPMS Sample). Advanced Merge provides statistical tools to find predominant values, average values, weighted average values, minimum/maximum values, count occurrences along the extent (e.g. number of pipe joints or intersections), and other aggregation operation
· Dynamic Segmentation Overlays · Analysis Query · Multiple Routes Selection Options · Multiple Output Options o CSV o Relational Database Tables o JSON · Filter/Search Results · Run Pre- and Post-processing Scripts on Data · REST Service API · View Job Details · Save, Manage, and Import Templates · Reports · User Guide

Analyze and Resolve Data Descrepancies

Validation Assistant™ performs data validations on single or multiple tables (cross-table validations) using LRS overlays (leverages Segment Analyzer). The results that meet or do not meet user defined validations can then be stepped through in a data editing tool. If users have implemented Esri’s Roads & Highways, the results can be displayed in the Event Editor using Validation Assistant’s configurable links. Users can review the nonconforming records and resolve potential problems, or mark records as exceptions or anomalies that can be ignored.
· Add New Validations · Edit Validations · Execute Validations · Group Validations · Validate Data in Esri Versions · Select Output Database · Basic Validation Query (define where clause)Complex Validation Query (define full SQL statement) · Common Segment Aggregation · View Job Details · View Run Results · Export Validation Results · Data Editor Integration · Application Log · User Guide

Design and Generate Custom Reports

Report Engine™ is a web-based report builder and printing tool that allows users to design, customize and print reports using data from relational database tables and views, include the analysis results from Segment Analyzer™, Validation Assistant™, HPMS Assistant™, or Rizing’s straight line diagramming product Road Analyzer™.
· Report Dashboard · Report Organization in Folders · Create User Designed Reports · Leverage Report Templates · Edit Existing Reports · Download Reports in Multiple Formats · Charts and Graphs · User Guide

Generate Simple and Complex Intersection Attributes

Intersection Manager™ generates road intersection and interchange locations, approach extents, and intersection characteristics from an agency’s GIS and geodatabase to assist transportation agencies with populating many of the Fundamental Data Elements (FDEs) recommended by FHWA and needed for crash analysis tools, such as AASHTOWare’s Safety Analyst.
· Source Data Configuration · Intersection Generation · Intersection Updates from Road Changes · Single Intersection GIS Feature at an Intersection · Intersection Inventory and Characteristics Population · Full Model Inventory of Roadway Elements (MIRE) Intersection Data Structure · Interchange / Complex Intersection Management Tools · Temporal Data Maintenance · User Guide
