The first SAP® SuccessFactors® release of 2019 went into preview on March 8. We have already provided an overview of major highlights in the update, but now we are going to take some time to examine more detailed information on updates in Recruiting and Onboarding.

The preview release allows customers the chance to test out new features before they officially go live in the system on the production date. Each preview of SAP SuccessFactors quarterly updates comes about one month before the production, which is April 5 for this quarter.

Let’s look at the enhancements in SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and Onboarding.

Recruiting

Mass Resume Upload: Recruiters can now mass upload up to 100 resumes and have the system automatically parse those resumes to create candidate profiles (word, txt, pdf, image formats).

How to turn it on: Via Admin Center Opt-in.

Master Data and Candidate Profile: This provides additional support for defining custom Metadata Framework objects and uses them along with standard Generic and Foundational Objects. The update helps brings HR Master Data to the Job Requisition and Job Offer Approval.

How to turn it on: Via Admin Center Opt-in.

New Agency Portal (BETA): The new Agency Portal will replace the current Agency Solution. It will provide the same set of existing functionalities with a new UI design. The current Agency Solution will be active until the universal switch in Q3 2019. The move will NOT require any re-implementation activities.

How to turn it on: Provisioning Opt-in.

Internal Career Site: This is the consolidation of the internal candidate experience with the external candidate career site into a single consistent career site experience.
