Rizing, a Wipro Company, appoints Vajira De Silva as CEO for Global Consumer Industries Fashion and Retail Business
Rizing Consumer Industries President Steve Hatcher appointed to lead Rizing’s Global Customer Success Office as Chief Customer Officer
Stamford, CT [November 28, 2022] – Rizing, a Wipro Company, announced Vajira De Silva will assume leadership of global Consumer Industries, Rizing’s largest line of business and the leading SAP S/4HANA® partner for Fashion and Retail. Rizing’s Consumer Industries business has a global footprint following the acquisition of attune Consulting by Rizing in 2021. The two companies will consolidate under one brand name, Rizing, a Wipro company, effective January 1, 2023.
As a founding member of attune, Vajira served as CEO of attune Consulting for 13 years before the acquisition. With a combined total of 28 years in IT and SAP, Vajira is one of the Fashion and Retail industries’ most experienced and knowledgeable SAP professionals. In his new role as CEO of Consumer Industries for Rizing, Vajira will lead the global Consumer Industries team to focus on leading and expanding Rizing’s best-practice Fashion and Retail SAP partnership. Vajira has been co-CEO of Rizing’s Consumer Industries for the past year alongside Steve Hatcher.
At the same time, Rizing is appointing Steve Hatcher to the executive leadership role of Chief Customer Officer leading Rizing’s Global Customer Success Office (GCSO). The mission of the GCSO is to ensure the development of strong long-term customer relationships and to develop and execute business strategies that drive customer success.
In his new role, Steve will lead the development of Rizing’s overall customer success strategy across all lines of business, as the company supports an increasing number of SAP business transformations across the globe.
Steve is one of the founding members of Rizing and has served as President of Consumer Industries, leading the firm’s growth in the North American retail market over the past ten years. He is a former SAP executive with over 28 years of experience helping customers implement SAP solutions. He has served as a trusted advisor and executive steering committee member for some of the largest SAP customers in North America.
Both Vajira and Steve remain members of Rizing’s Executive Leadership Team, serving under Mike Maiolo, Rizing’s CEO. Rizing has 1,440 employees in sixteen countries.
