New Role Relationship Available for Managing Development Goals
Many customers wanted to let HR or Talent professionals access and view employees’ development goals directly on the development plan. A new role relationship makes this possible.
With proper permissions, talent administrators and professionals can now view or edit development goals on others’ plans via the People Selector on their own Development Plan without using the proxy feature.
This enables someone who isn’t the employee’s manager or assigned HR person to oversee and support an employee with their development goals more holistically and conveniently.
Note: This requires role-based permission changes and changes to the development goal plan template.
How to turn it on: This is opt-in and customer-configured.
Coaching Advisor Now Supported in Latest Development Goals
In the latest Development Goals, you can select predefined content in Coaching Advisor and add it to a development goal. Coaching Advisor helps you come up with meaningful advice for developing competencies associated with the development goal by offering mentoring and development suggestions for development goals. This is a gap closure for Latest Goal Management.

Change Order of Sign-up Form Questions
With each release, SAP adds enhancements to the Mentoring feature. This release includes the ability for Mentoring Administrators and program owners to change the order of sign-up form questions when creating or editing a mentoring program. This feature lets users sort the sign-up questions in a meaningful way.

Access Continuous Performance Management (CPM) from Mentoring
SAP added a link to the View Mentoring Details page to access CPM’s 1:1 channel. This feature can access the meeting channels of CPM so mentors and mentees can collaborate and track joint goals and activities tied to the mentoring relationship and participation in a mentoring program.
