New Experience for People Profile
In this release, SAP added a new profile experience for doing things like searching the organizational chart. This new profile design provides a more comprehensive but not overwhelming view of the Employee with the Preview and Spotlight functions.
Preview:
- Perform common actions like calling or emailing based on data
- Personalize the public profile
- Switch between multiple Employment experiences
- View or update specific employee data through the Actions

New Experience for Org Chart
This release also includes an updated employee Organization Chart. This new chart is easier, smoother, and richer to navigate in SuccessFactors.
We recommend enabling the Profile Preview and Org Chart updates together for the best experience.
Latest Role-Based Permissions
SAP included several updates to improve the Role Based Permissions functionality in this release. They include:
- MDF Permissions
- Data Blocking
- Compensation Permission Roles
SAP will automatically enable this new experience because it provides a better way to create and maintain permissions, including search functionality and the separation of Permissions and Assignments. SAP is keeping the legacy version of Role Based Permissions available to switch back to, but they will deprecate it in May 2025.
